Totoco Eco Resort - Balgue

The view from Totoco Eco-Project Villa was fine, with the island and Concepcion volcano in sight. We loved being surrounded by nature and the jungle vibes. The room we stayed in was clean and had a unique outdoor bathroom/shower that added to the experience. Despite the remote location, we always felt safe and enjoyed the peace and quiet. The manager were really good too make our stay enjoyable, organizing activities and transportation for us. we had a nice and picturesque stay at Totoco Eco-Project Villa.

I had an amazing time at Totoco Eco-Project Villa! The location was perfect for me, nestled in a peaceful and natural setting. I loved being able to connect with nature and explore the surrounding area. The guided excursions, especially the hike up the volcano, were incredible experiences that I will never forget. The pool and deck provided breathtaking views, especially during sunset. The breakfast and food in general were outstanding, some of the best I had during my trip. The staff were also very helpful in organizing activities and making sure I had a great stay. I highly recommend Totoco Eco-Project Villa for a unique and eco-friendly getaway.

Located in the midst of a lush jungle, this rustic eco-lodge offers clean, spacious rooms with comfortable beds and mosquito nets. The stunning views of the Conception Volcano and breathtaking sunsets provide an unforgettable experience. The staff is accommodating and goes above and beyond to assist guests, even delivering food when the restaurant is closed. Breakfast is a delightful treat, and the pool with its amazing view adds to the overall charm.

I had an amazing stay at Totoco Eco-Project Villa. The cabanas were peaceful and comfortable, surrounded by the sounds and sights of the rainforest. The views of the volcano and lake were absolutely stunning. The included breakfasts were varied and delicious. The pool and restaurant offered spectacular views. The staff were pleasant and accommodating. I highly recommend this hotel for a relaxing and beautiful getaway.

During our stay over the Christmas holidays, we enjoyed the beautiful surroundings and tranquil atmosphere. The cabins were cozy and we loved the outdoor showers. Another positive aspect was the friendly and helpful staff who made us feel welcome throughout our stay.

One of the downsides we encountered was the limited options for food, especially during lunch and evenings. The meals were not the best and quite pricey.

Nothing to complain about at all.

Totoco was our first stop on our Nicaraguan trip and we felt safe at all times. The touristic destinations like Isla de Ometepe are more than safe. The views of the volcano and surrounding area from Totoco are breathtaking and the hotel's location feels secluded. The staff were extremely accommodating and set us up with the best guide for our volcano hike. Our room was clean with a lovely outdoor shower and private outdoor space. The garden/jungle is beautiful, with many animals. The staff were friendly and helpful, always there to assist. Totoco is an eco-friendly lodging facility with a meaningful mission to foster sustainable tourism and community involvement.

Although the hotel is isolated, it offers a unique opportunity to disconnect and escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. we highly recommend Totoco Eco-Project for a lovely experience.
